Meet the Team

We recognize that all of our patients are unique and deserve to receive dental care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented dental team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding dental experience every time you visit our practice. We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.

Shawn - Dental Hygienist

I graduated from Northcentral Tech College in Wausau, WI in 1982, and joined Dr. Poss’ team as a dental hygienist in 1999. I love working with people and improving their health. The relationships I’ve made—both with patients and with my coworkers—over the past 16 years have really meant a lot to me. We are very professional but also know how to have a good time!

I have been married to my husband, John, for 13 crazy years. He has a daughter, Amanda, who has blessed us with two beautiful grandsons, MJ and Mason, who are the joys of our lives. I have a son who goes to school and serves in the Air Force Reserves. Dakota is my greatest accomplishment. In my free time, I enjoy flower gardens, animals, my dog and two cats, and spending time with my family and friends.

Piper - Therapy Dog

I just turned six! I am an English lab, and a registered therapy dog for Dr. Poss. I was tested at EmBark where I had the rest of my training. I provide comfort and therapy to anyone who wants my attention. I love coming to work every day and seeing my friends Shawn, Traci, and Anna!

I love being around people, even when I’m not in the office! I go to a first-grade classroom every Tuesday to read with the kids. My favorite pastime is playing with my best buddy, Sadie. I love to swim, take long walks, and play with very squeaky toys. But most of all, I love to eat!

Sue - Office Manager

I take care of the business aspects of the practice so my husband, Dr. Poss, can concentrate on providing the very best patient care. I worked as a certified dental assistant for several years before transitioning into an administrative role. I love working with people, whether I’m helping patients with their financial plans or being a resource for our staff. We have a small, caring, family-orientated office where we take pride in providing quality dental care on a personal level, because every patient is very important to us! We strive to make everyone who comes through our door feel welcome and at home!

Dr. Poss and I have three grown children. Kevin lives in Minneapolis, Kelsey and her husband Ryan live near Madison, and Kolin lives in Milwaukee. Piper, our office’s therapy dog, is also a very important member of the family. I love watching the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers, listening to music, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. I am a hospice volunteer and volunteer at the Community Table, as well as with Give Kids a Smile.

Traci - Front Desk Coordinator

I started my career as a dental assistant in 1992, and since 2000, have worked as a front office coordinator. I am here to offer friendly and courteous service to our patients while scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, filing, insurance billing, and sending out statements and recall cards. Our team gets along so well. We care equally about our patients and have fun providing the best possible care. It’s very rewarding to see the approval and appreciation of our patients regarding the quality of our work.

I have a wonderful daughter Brionna and a Pomeranian named Rahja. I like cheering for the Green Bay Packers, spending time with family and friends, reading, walking, fishing, and camping.

Anna - Dental Assistant

I assist Dr. Poss with the care of our patients by setting up rooms for procedures, sterilizing instruments, and escorting patients to and from the reception area. It is my goal to create a warm and comfortable environment where our patients feel safe and confident in the care they’ve received. I especially like helping fearful patients overcome their phobia. Dr. Poss is very gentle and thorough when addressing our patients’ needs and concerns, which makes my job a lot easier!

My husband Steve and I have a daughter named Madison, a cat named Bella, a dog Sparky, and a bunny, Milo. We love to snowmobile, fish, trap shoot, and spend time with family and friends.
